Idhammar - Manufacturing Productivity Software
 

Idhammar Systems is one of Europe’s leading suppliers of CMMS software and consulting for manufacturing productivity improvement.  It has a strong brand reputation but was looking to use it's website to reach new markets and prospects not familiar with its brand or technology.
Challenges and goals
The website contained excellent content including a wide range of case studies and product information; however the vast majority of its website visits were from users who already knew Idhammar.
The Solution
WSI undertook a search engine optimisation (SEO) campaign based on keyword research and analysis of the website analytics.   Working in conjunction with the in-house marketing team and web design agency, the website navigation was streamlined so that visitors could find the existing content more easily and consequently convert into leads at a higher rate.
The Result

Good ranking on Google and the other search engines was obtained for the main highly competitive keywords as well as the associated ‘long tail’ phrases incorporating the keywords.

After 6 months website traffic had increased by 40%.   Importantly, the number of European searchers who did not use the Idhammar brand name to find the site increased by 120% and the re-organised navigation meant that the average number of pages read by these visitors increased by an impressive 65%.
